Continuing on another device does not mean every device gets access.

Who signed in? Which computer is it? Who belongs to the Family? Who allowed access to storage? Cloud and the local products check these questions at the point where they matter.

OrbiFabric Cloud is coming soon. This site is informational only; account creation, sign-in, trials, and subscriptions are not yet available.

Your access checklist
  1. 01Account
  2. 02Device
  3. 03Family membership
  4. 04Storage authorization
  5. 05Signed request

A request cannot overrule your device.

You lose a laptop while travelling

Protect the account, revoke the missing device and review storage access. Files already saved on that laptop also need your device’s own protection.

How you continue

  1. 01

    Who signed in?

Use the sign-in and recovery controls, including multi-factor authentication (MFA). Review unexpected activity.

  2. 02

    Which device and Family member?

A signed-in account does not give every device or Family member access to everything. Review device and membership settings.

  3. 03

    Who authorized storage?

Storage services enforce file access. Credentials stay on the authorized Packtell device.

  4. 04

Where did the request come from?

Trust requests use signatures and freshness checks to reject altered or replayed messages. Bellfly checks the request again on the device before acting.

Protect each place that holds access.

Revoking a Cloud device does not remotely wipe its disk or revoke every third-party storage session. Review those separately.

If something gets in the way

You did not initiate an account action

Use account recovery and contact support@orbifabric.com. Do not send passwords or recovery codes.

Storage access may be exposed

Review and revoke access with that storage service as well.

A public Witness link is shared

Only its limited public record is available. Private records still require authorization.

A few things you may be wondering

Does MFA protect files already on a device?

It protects account access. Local files still depend on the device’s own security.

Does Cloud get my actual files?

OrbiFabric Cloud has no capability to obtain your actual files.
